Berry good smoothie

This smoothie is a great source of vitamin A, in the form of beta carotene, and a great source of vitamin C, providing you with a good hit of antioxidants. The avocado makes it really creamy. I sometimes switch the broccoli around for a handful of kale. The ground flax seeds are good for helping with constipation.


Ingredients


  • Half an Avocado,

  • Half a carrot

  • Floret of broccoli

  • 2 inches cucumber

  • Small beetroot

  • Mixed frozen berries (to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon flax seeds

  • Water


Directions


  1. Pop your fruit and vegetables in the nutribullet.

  2. Add water, being careful not to exceed the fill limit.

  3. Whizz the smoothie and serve.

  4. Drink straight away! (The fruit will oxidise faster once it's blended, drink as soon as possible to ensure that you don't miss out on any of the nutritional value)
