Mango, courgette and spinach smoothie

Mango, courgette and spinach are all great for your skin health and increasing collagen. It is quick and simple to make this into a quick smoothie.

Flax seeds are a great source of omega 3 essential fat which is also good for the skin, and they are good for your digestive system and easing constipation. I always use whole flax seeds, because the Nutribullet will blend them up for you. If you buy the milled flax seeds they can become oxidised in the packet, and they should be kept in the fridge and used before their best before date.


  • A quarter of a courgette,

  • a handful of spinach, and about

  • 20 chunks of frozen mango.

  • 1 teaspoon of flax seeds


  1. Put the ingredients into a Nutribullet blender, and add water to just below the vegetable line, and to no higher than the maximum fill line.

  2. Whizz up in the Nutribullet for about 30 seconds, stop, and then whizz for another 30 seconds.

  3. Test for flavour. If it's not sweet enough for you then add more mango!

Top Tip - Drink the smoothie within 15 minutes of making it to avoid oxidation.
