Travel in the Seychelles with food intolerances

Updated: Feb 10, 2019

Seychelles September 2013.

We spent our honeymoon at L'Archipel Hotel on Praslin Island. What a fantastic choice! Stunning location, quiet beach, and seriously wonderful food that reminded me of Michelin starred restaurants.

They truly looked after all my dietary needs. Every night they brought out personalised delicious gourmet food completely catering to all my intolerances. I could not have asked for more! You should have no food worries here! Gluten free, corn free, lactose free, egg free - NO PROBLEM! Love them.

We spent the week before the honeymoon getting married on the main island in the Seychelles, Mahe, in a self catering villa with our family.

We ate out a couple of times at La Perle Noire, and we also chose it for our wedding party dinner. They don't have a website, but you can find lots of good reviews on www.tripadvisor.co.uk.

I had a delicious snapper with mango salsa at La Perle Noire. Well worth a visit.
